The Philippines is blessed with many large tracts of fertile land suitable for the agriculture and/or animal husbandry industries.
However, no matter how fertile the soil is, it can eventually be depleted of the nutrients required to sustain the crops planted on it, and will need occasional maintenance, usually done by crop rotations throughout the farming season and mixing additives into the soil like fertilizers and manure.
To address this problem, My Happy Farmer has introduced the Speedgrow Organic Fertilizer line, which not only serves as a fertilizer spray for crops, but can also be used as a food supplement for livestock–which is good news for those who raise livestock on their farmlands.
The product’s natural fertilizer is a special proprietary blend of macro and micro nutrients in their cellular state primarily composed of starch, carbohydrates, protein, and fiber for plant growth, while Speedgrow is a microbial food supplement that beneficially affects its host animal by improving intestinal microbial organisms.
“We have tried and tested Speedgrow [on] a farm [in Guiguinto] with good results,” said Mr. Wendy de Mesa, sales manager of My Happy Farmer. “The corn and peanut crops on which we used…Speedgrow fertilizer spray bore [a] better harvest than with what we usually use, and the swine and chicken batch that were fed the Speedgrow food supplement developed nicely and [becamej plump without any health complications or imperfections on their skin.”
As a food supplement, Speedgrow can be mixed into the food of livestock, and it helps speed up their growth and improve their health. This is good news for those who want to eat healthy. “As people grow older and become more aware about their health… they are looking for organic and chemical-free produce and meats,” said De Mesa. “Speedgrow is made with pure, natural ingredients for more organic nutrition [for both crops] and livestock.”
Speedgrow is all-natural and certified organic by the Organic Certification Center of the Philippines (OCCP). The OCCP was the result of an initiative spearheaded by advocates of organic and sustainable agriculture in response to the need for a national organic inspection and certification program. An independent, private, membership-based organic standard setting and organic certification body, OCCP was the first certifying body to be accredited by the Department of Agriculture in 2001.
