4th annual Cactus Fiesta Fair launched

The annual Cactus Fiesta Fair officially opened at the UN Square in Manila.

The fair is hosted by the National Cactus and Succulent Organization of the Philippines, Inc. (NCSOPI), former CSSPI. Now on its 4th year, the three-day event will feature cactus and succulent (CNS) exhibits, lectures, and a plant bazaar.

Several exhibit pieces will come from the Plantaholic Garden, Aireen Bernal, Savanah Lamsen, and from the NCSOPI officers themselves, headed by their president, Amy Lastimosa.

On the 2nd day, April 6th, CNS enthusiasts can learn from expert growers and gardeners for there will be free seminars on tips on how to grow your CNS. They are also encouraged to join the competitions such as ‘Pot-in-a-pot’ challenge with a registration fee of Php 50.00.

Pop-up stalls and booths where guests can buy their own cactus and succulents can also be found in the event.

The Cactus Fiesta Fair will run until the April 7th, Sunday, at UN Square.

Discover a new hobby and give home to cactus and succulents in this blazing summer heat!
