The Philippine Horticultural Society Inc. (PHSI) celebrated the first year anniversary of its monthly plant bazaar, Grow and Show, at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Rescue Center in Quezon City, which will run from July 13 until July 21 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
Different plants such as cacti, succulents, tillandsias, and other sorts are up for sale. Aside from the stalls, there will be different plant competitions such as the “‘SUSPENDED’ – an Art Tilly competition,” a tillandsia plant contest.
Interested visitors may also attend free lectures from different plant experts and enthusiasts on July 14 and 20 from 10:00AM until 2:00PM. There will also be exciting prizes to be given during raffles and a plant bingo bonanza will happen on July 14 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and on the 21st in two different sessions: morning (10:00AM – 12:00nn) and afternoon (1:00PM – 3:00PM).
There is a fee of Php 30.00 upon entering the park. Parking is available for guests who wish to bring their cars.
