Despite the threat of inclement weather, the National Cactus and Succulent Organization of the Philippines (NCSOPI), in partnership with SM City Sucat, hosted the first ever cactus and succulent exhibit to be held in the south.

Known as “Urban Jungle,” the exhibit showcases the different types of cacti and succulents that offers a refreshing break from the guests’ regular mall visits.

More than 30 participating plant exhibitors to showcase their best indoor plants in the Dish Garden and Tabletop competition where they can win exciting prizes.

The plant entries are available to view at the venue throughout the duration of the event.

Other activities include a bazaar so people can bring home their own plant baby. Members from the NCSOPI and the event’s exhibitors will also hold free seminars on cacti and succulents for mall-goers to attend.

Urban Jungle will run from August 2 to 9 during mall hours at Atrium A of SM City Sucat, Parañaque.
