The Baguio City Veterinary Office – Agricultural Services Division (BCVO-ASD) posted on social media that they have repacked different kinds of seeds to be distributed in the barangays so residents can start “survival gardens.”
The comments were very positive. One person said “Good job, I hope other cities do the same” while another said that they already had a lush garden and even attached a photo of it.
With the whole of Luzon on extreme enhanced community quarantine, getting food, especially fresh food, can be challenging.
The BCVO-ASD is pro-actively helping residents find food security in a time of uncertainty.
