Linda Compton is a gardener from Claremore, Oklahoma, who’s seeking recognition from the Guinness World Records for her okra plant that’s more than 13-feet tall.

The okra plant came as a surprise. Compton shared that the okra plant came from normal seeds that she purchased from a department store, and she hasn’t used any special inputs on the plant.

Compton discovered that the Guinness World Record for the tallest okra plant is at 10 feet, five inches, but hers has already surpassed it by three feet and one inch, and it’s still growing. She has already reached out to the organization to get her plant recognized.
