Zac B. Sarian, Agricultural Monthly magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, is a veteran agriculture journalist who also runs a one-hectare nursery of exotic fruit trees. He is the Agriculture Editor of Manila Bulletin whose agriculture page and “Agri Plain Talk” column has been appearing for more than 21 years. He also writes a “Agri Talk,” a weekly column in Panorama Magazine, the Sunday supplement of Manila Bulletin, and his articles also come out in vernacular magazines published by the Manila Bulletin like Bannawag (Ilocano), Bisaya (Cebuano), Hiligaynon (Ilonggo) and Liwayway (Tagalog or Pilipino).
Yvette Tan is Manila Bulletin’s agriculture editor, Agriculture magazine’s managing editor, and agriculture.com.ph‘s Web Editor. She is an award-winning writer who likes to eat (which is where her passion for agriculture stems from), travel, and listen to stories about the strange and supernatural. She is dedicated to encouraging people to push for sustainable food sources and is an advocate of food security, food sovereignty, and the preservation of community foodways.
Sahlie Lacson is Agricultural Monthly magazine’s graphic designer and editorial assistant. It is her traditional outlook that gives the magazine its distinct aesthetic sense. She has an interest in small-scale agriculture and hopes to own a farm one day.
Patricia Taculao, or Patty as she likes to be called, is agriculture.com.ph‘s content producer. She graduated from University of Santo Tomas with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and plans to be a lawyer someday. She loves to spend her free time, reading, painting, and watching old movies.
